American Plaque Mounting can create Flush Mount pieces three different ways:
The first is to dry-mount the image on 1/8" or 1/4" hardboard and seal it with a matte laminate. A 3/4" box
frame is attached to the back to create a 3 dimensional look. Edges are bevelled and finished in a variety of colors.

The second is to follow the same steps as above, but use a 3/8" MDF instead of the hardboard.
The third is to use a 3/4" solid piece of ultra light MDF, which is 30% lighter than regular 3/4" MDF.
This process is a little less time consuming to make.
The edges of the plaque are bevelled and colored with edge foil. There is a large variety of edge colors to choose from.
